Conspiracy
When I was a youngster, I used to read a lot of books like Sherlock Holmes, Robin Hood, Treasure Island, Kidnapped, Etc. I was fascinated with how life was lived in the "Old Days" and I wished that I had been born two hundred years earlier. My mother opined that I was much better off in modern times. I tried to think of what is better now than then. The only thing I could think of was painless dentistry. One thing I know for sure is that I cannot transcend dental medication.
But as they say, "No Pain: No Gain" You may be able to go to the dentist without pain, but you can't go there, or anywhere else with out Big Brother knowing all about it.
Don't believe me? Let me ask you... do you have a cell phone? A cell phone tower has a range of about two miles, yet the phone company always knows where you are.
Every time you make a credit card or debit card purchase, the "System" knows what you purchased, and where you purchased it, and when you purchased it.
How far can you walk or drive without being photographed by a security camera? Those cameras are everywhere. The fact is, you can be tracked in dozens of ways. Are you being watched? Probably not, but if Big Brother decided that you were "A Person Of Interest", you would have precious little privacy.
At least in the old days, you had privacy. We may have painless dentistry, but we have lost our privacy.
Which brings me to conspiracy theories. We have always had conspiracies, but modern technology has raised the bar considerably. Take 9/11 for example. What do you know about what happened at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania?
What the Government tells us, and what the conspiracy folks tell us are quite different. I have found a few 9/11 conspiracy sited that deal with this event.

How about a few other kinds of conspiracies?

Well that should keep you goung for a while. Suffice to say thet there is no shortage of websites to keep you well occupied. You could be glued to your computer for the rest of your life looking into this stuff. Which is right where Big Brother wants you. Where He can keep an eye on you.
But, that's a whole other conspiracy!
